Rev. Dr. Wyatt Tee Walker is the Honorary Chairman of Victory Education Partners. He is a pastor, national civil rights leader, theologian, and cultural historian. He was a Chief of Staff for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., became an early board member of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and helped to found the Congress for Racial Equality (CORE). He enabled the first charter school in New York state to lease space from the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ in Harlem where he was the pastor. Today, that school bears his name, the Sisulu-Walker Charter School; this was the very first school that Victory helped to launch.
